Do Right By is a multimedia agency advancing social responsibility in the consumer space.
Moleskine
Moleskine journals hold a special place in the lives of those who use them and the product is ripe for repeat business. Many fans draw pictures of their Moleskines in the very book that poses as their subject. This is the direction that this campaign takes on; self documentation, autobiography-esque. Elegant yet nuanced, Moleskine journals are a perfect companion for both the logical and the loopy.

This campaign strikes the classic analog against fully featured digitalia. The first three ads discuss the original notebook while the next three stand for some of the line extensions. To showcase the versatility if the art direction and its minimal elements, various ad spaces and media are used.

Honest Tea

Honest Tea touts its sugar free and organic varieties in addition to fair trade and community ideals. The do-no-wrong nature of the beverage led to the concept of a bottle cap as a halo. To put an ad campaign behind the concept, various not-so-nice beverages are featured finally telling the truth about themselves. The resonant imagery of the bottle cap as halo stays with the audience all the way to point of purchase. There, the Honest Tea brand is brought back to the forefront of the mind.

Singles

This is a collection of one-shot projects including Windustry, a non profit promoting wind power in Minnesota, Arbor Day, and The Drifters, an independent film written, produced, and directed by Lanze Spears.

Writers' Houses
Writers’ Houses is an online database for the homes of authors. Offering photos, logistics, stories, and news, Writers’ Houses is the first all-in-one place for information about this field. Writers’ homes have quite a following and are frequented by an audience, that the client, A.N. Devers calls, literary pilgrims.

This project utilized Wordpress to create a user friendly backend interface for Ms. Devers to input her wealth of knowledge into a database that is than beautifully presented to the audience on the front end. Starting from scratch, we designed the identity and extended it to social media outlets as well as assisted in the launch party in the Summer of 2010 at A Public Space in Brooklyn, NY.

Green Map App
Among many projects with Green Map, version 2 of the mobile application was, perhaps, the most valuable and innovative. Working on a tight budget and with goals of large scale accessibility, we chose to develop the iPhone specific app with standard web technologies so as to re-purpose it as a cross-platform mobile web site. A Javascript, CSS, and PHP structure was built upon Green Map’s already flourishing Drupal-based interface to allow for easy mobile access to location based green site searching and site addition features.

Utilizing the service, AppMakr, we integrated these features into the Green Map iPhone app, accompanied by feeds of our maps, mapmakers, blogs, videos, and tweets from all over the globe. We also developed a rotating advertisement space for which to seek sponsorship.
